Winners of the 1st Art Competition

Congratulations to the winners of the 1st Goolum Goolum Art Competition for young people 9-19 years. 

The winners were : 

1st prize  : Danae McDonald (age 10)

Danae's entry said : 

1. Life's an adventure because it can take you on many different tracks and you never know what each day will bring.

2. Life's better when you've got people that care and love you.

"It was pretty surprising how I won and that I got over $100 !"

2nd prize : Bianca Lauricella (age 10)

"I feel happy that I came second !"

3rd prize : Ben Cooke-Harrison (age 15) .

Kids Christmas Party!

Everyone's getting festive here at Goolum Goolum as we gear up for the Kids Christmas Party tomorrow!

 All families with children are invited to join us here at Goolum Goolum for a fun and entertaining day on Tuesday 7th December from 12pm.

A free BBQ will be provided for lunch and children between the ages of 0 and 10 will receive presents and gift bags.

Free professional Family Photos will also be available on the day!

What is the Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-Operative?

Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-operative is a Community Controlled Aboriginal Organisation delivering Health and Community Services to the Local Koori Community in the Wimmera and Western Grampians Regions of Victoria.

The organisation was incorporated in 1982, and has continued to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the Local Koori Community. Goolum Goolum relocated to it's current location, a purpose built Health Facility, in 2006. Goolum Goolum provides many services to its community including a health clinic, health services, home and community services, a justice program and early childhood and children's services.

Goolum Goolum's business hours are Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4pm operating from 43 Hamilton Street Horsham, Victoria 3400 (opposite the YMCA Acquatic Centre Car Park).
